Material Details:
Flexoid Paper is a cellulose based soft jointing material used for sealing against petrol, oil and water. It is manufactured by special impregnation with plasticised gelatine and other chemicals to achieve excellent oil and fuel resistant properties.
Applications:
Flexoid Paper is suitable for a variety of automotive applications where the sealing is required with uneven and light sealing loads. Generally used in Carburettors, Fuel Pumps, Front Plate, Oil Pumps, Oil Filter, Side Cover, Timing Cover, Thermostat, Water Pump, Gear Box Covers, Axle Covers, Hub Caps etc. It has limited usage against steam, alkalis and chemicals

Possesses resistance against common chemicals, except melted alkali metal, fluorine in liquid and gas state.
